Hon. Alfredo C. Ventura, Jr., a newly elected Sangguniang Bayan Member had barely warmed his seat but was already in the thick of work to deliver his solemn election campaign promises. Now, being mandated by the people of Sablayan, he is performing his duties and responsibilities given to him by doing his best to serve the public. His goal is Good Governance and by extending efficient and effective service. Officially taking the reins on July 1 naturally involved a lot of work such as consultations with various constituents, resolving different issues of barangays, and passing ordinances for his constituents.
The first 100 days of Hon. Junjun Ventura was definitely as high-spirited as he was busy. As a local elected representative, he engages with residents and groups on a wide range of different issues and take important leadership roles.
By the 100th day, 15 ordinances have been introduced by him. He has passed measures including “An Ordinance Requiring the Installation of a Closed Circuit Television (CCTVs) in all Business Establishment in the Municipality of Sablayan” or the Ordinance No. 2019 – 004.
